Lawn Pro Policies, Terms, and Conditions.
Lawn Care:
HELP US HELP YOU:
In order for Lawn Pro to provide you basic lawn care at a great price we need your help in preparing your yard. Please check the areas to be serviced and remove trash, paper, toys, garden hoses, tools, pet droppings, large rocks, etc...these items can cause serious damage to our crews, equipment, and your property. If you have a trampoline, playhouse, hammock, lawn furniture, etc...it will be trimmed around as best as possible. Please ensure your gate is unlocked on your mow day. (or a key is left in the mailbox)
SAFETY:
Please ensure all people, kids and pets are inside while we are working on your lawn.
SERVICE:
Basic lawn service includes mowing grass areas, line trimming, and disbursement of clippings with blower. Please have trees and plants in lawn protected from line trimmer.
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
Weekly and bi-weekly customers agree to a eight mow minimum. You may cancel service at any time once the eight mow minimum has been met. If you cancel prior to the eight mow minimum there will be a $145 fee charged to the card on file.
SEASON TO SEASON:
We do consider you a customer from season to season. Unless directed to stop, we will resume mowing each spring.
BI WEEKLY SERVICE:
Bi-weekly service is available after August 1st. There is an additional Charge of $15 for bi-weekly service.
CONTACTING US:
We are available by phone Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Please do not give instructions to the crew. Call or email the office so we can be sure that your instructions show up on our route sheet each time your yard is serviced.
SERVICE DAY:
We will assign you a mow day when you sign up for service. This mow day will stay the same unless we notify you. We cannot guarantee a specific time due to an ever expanding schedule. We mow Monday through Friday (even during holidays) until dark.
RAIN POLICY:
We mow in the rain unless it is a continuous down pour. We will pick up the schedule where we left off when the rain lets up. Saturdays may be utilized to complete the week's schedule. If heavy rain is expected, you may be mowed early, if heavy rain is received, you may be mowed late.
DOGS:
For the safety of our crews, and your dog, please ensure they are inside when we come to mow. Also, please be sure that dog droppings are picked up off the lawn before we arrive. If there are too many dog dropping, we will not be able to mow your yard. You will however still be charged.
LOCKED GATES:
If your gate is locked, we cannot get into your yard. To avoid being charged for a cut we were not able to do, please ensure your gate is unlocked when we come to mow.
OUR BILLING:
We accept MasterCard and VISA. Credit card payments will be processed the day following the service. If a card is declined we will contact you for new card information. If we cannot get in touch with you, then we cancel future mows. Pre-payment by cheque may be sent to Box 67164, RPO Northland Village, Calgary, AB T2L 2L2, but must be received by us before any work commences. NSF cheques and declined payments are subject to a $50.00 dollar service fee. Please do not give payment to the crew.
PROBLEMS:
Please contact the office within 24 hours to report a problem. We can send the crew back to make corrections or make adjustments for future mows. All wiring around the home in areas that will be serviced should be protected including A/C unit wiring, landscape lighting, electrical box, cable and phone lines by conduit, PVC, etc. If you have any questions please call and we can explain. Please protect trees and siding, as we cannot be held responsible for damages caused by trimmers. We are striving to eliminate any problems.
SERVICE CHANGES:
Please contact the office by 4:00 PM the day before your scheduled service to guarantee a service change (if your regular service day is Monday, then we must be notified by 4:00 PM on Friday)
Snow Removal:
FREQUENCY:
In a continuous snow storm, the snow will be removed once every 24 hours.
ACCUMULATION:
There must be over 1cm of snow on the ground to be considered removable.
HOURS OF OPERATION:
We try to operate between the hours of 3:00AM and 10:00PM. (In a snow storm, these hours do comply with all City of Calgary bylaws)
EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS:
We aim to have all customers cleared by 10:00AM. Extreme weather, dangerous driving conditions, and time of snowfall may cause us to run late. We may clear some locations so early, that in a continuous snowfall, it may appear that we were not there, but in fact were.
SURFACES:
We are not liable for any damage to any surfaces.
WIND BLOWN SNOW:
We are not responsible for wind-blown snow.
FREEZE THAW ICE:
LawnPro Inc. is not responsible for Freeze/Thaw ice or ice build up.
GUARANTEE:
The only thing that LawnPro Inc Snow removal can absolutely guarantee is that the snow is removed within 24hours of the snow stopping in accordance of any City of Calgary bylaws.
NON PAYMENT OF INVOICE:
Service may be suspended at any time, without notice, for late or non-payment of invoices.
LIABILITY:
LawnPro Inc is not liable for any injuries caused by normal snow removal operations.
EXCEPTIONS:
We operate seven days per week for the duration of the snow removal season, with the exception of Christmas Day and New Years Day. ( December 25 and January 01) If snow falls on these days, it will be cleared the following day.
SEASON TO SEASON:
We do consider you a customer from season to season. Unless directed to stop, we will resume snow clearing each November 01.
